1.6L GDI Engine
The IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid features a 1.6L Gasoline Direct Injection engine (combined 164 horsepower, combined 195 lb-ft torque), paired with a larger 44.5 kW electric motor (compared to the Hybrid model) to deliver efficient cruising. The 6-speed transmission handles this power efficiently to deliver smooth shifting and responsiveness.
