Explore the Upcoming 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai intends to launch a brand new Santa Fe model this year in an effort to build on the model’s popularity with drivers across Ontario and North America as a whole. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will be available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, and while details are scarce, here’s what has been unveiled so far. What Can We Expect with the 2024 Santa Fe?
While not officially unveiled, the 2024 Santa Fe should boast a more rugged design, with a more powerful body stance and defined lines. An update to the headlamp design is expected as well, to match the bold new exterior.
The interior of the upcoming 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe reveals significant improvements over the current model. The new design is consistent with a proper SUV’s boxy and rugged exterior, featuring a robust dashboard with a chunky appearance. The steering wheel has also been redesigned to match the vehicle’s tough personality.
The interior has a number of sleek and modern features, such as air conditioning vents that are seamlessly integrated into the dashboard and a low-profile centre console with fewer physical controls. The digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system have also been combined into a single curved panel, resulting in a minimalist and cohesive interior design.
The current model’s 1.6-liter TGDI engine-based hybrid and plug-in hybrid systems are expected to be retained in the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. While upgrades are expected, it is unlikely that these electrified powertrains will be completely overhauled. Despite this, the current hybrid and plug-in hybrid systems are already powerful, producing 226 hp and 261 hp, respectively. There will also be an all-electric drive option.
